Rain and Snowfall Forecast in Most Parts of the Country

Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has predicted rain, snowfall, and continued cold weather across most areas of the country in the next 24 hours.

According to the report, rain is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and several cities of Punjab until February 10, with snowfall likely in mountainous regions.

In Karachi, the minimum temperature today is expected to be 16°C while the maximum may reach 30°C.

A westerly wave is currently present over Balochistan, and intermittent rain continues in Quetta.

The sky remains cloudy in Ziarat, Pishin, Qilla Saifullah, Qilla Abdullah, Mastung, Chagai, Khuzdar, Kharan, Musakhel, Kalat, and Gwadar. Rain, drizzle, and snowfall on hills are possible in these areas today.

In view of the potential hazards, the NDMA has instructed rescue departments to remain on high alert in case of road closures.
