QUETTA: The Pakistan Railway officials has said that the railway track near Damboli, which was damaged due to a blast, has been successfully restored, on Friday.
According to details, the railway track near Damboli was damaged after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast yesterday. Following the blast, the Jaffar Express was stopped at Sibi district for safety reasons.
Railway officials said that after the restoration of the track on Friday, the Chaman passenger train service was suspended and replaced with a shuttle service to transport passengers from Sibi. This arrangement facilitated the movement of Jaffar Express passengers from Sibi.

Railway authorities stated that both the Bolan Mail and Jaffar Express have now resumed their operations and departed Quetta as per their scheduled timings.
Earlier on Thursday, A Karachi-bound train narrowly escaped an improvised explosive device (IED) attack on the railway track near the Damboli area of Sibi district in Balochistan.
According to the station master, the Bolan Mail, en route from Karachi to Quetta, was targeted in the explosion. Coach number 7 of the Bolan Mail sustained partial damage.
Railway officials stated that the clearance operation on the track heading towards Quetta is currently underway. Once the process is complete, the Bolan Mail will resume its journey to Quetta.
