QUETTA: The unknown gunmen killed a truck driver in Hazarganji area.
Police official confirmed that a truck driver identified as Maqbool Ahmed, a resident of Mach, was sitting in a truck near Jatak Market in Hazarganji when unknown motorcyclists opened fire on him and fled. As a result of the firing, he died on the spot.
Police reached the spot, took the body into custody and took it to the hospital, where the body was handed over to the heirs after necessary action.
On the other hand, citizens thwarted an attempt to snatch motorcycles on Qambrani and Jan Muhammad Road. Two robbers were killed in the firing while two citizens were injured.
According to the police, two armed men were trying to snatch a motorcycle from a citizen on Qambrani Road yesterday.

Meanwhile, the robbers surrounded the citizens. Both the robbers, Bashir Ahmed and Sarfaraz, were killed on the spot in the firing. On receiving information, the police reached the spot and took the bodies to the hospital, where after necessary action, the bodies were kept in the morgue.
