QUETTA: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Balochistan Zone has intensified its crackdown on networks involved in illegal hawala, hundi, and illegal currency exchange.
According to details, FIA Balochistan Zone conducted different raids and arrested three suspects identified as Abdul Bari, Sanaullah, and Asadullah from different areas of Quetta.
FIA spokesperson told local media that a total of 2.7 million Iranian rials and 3,050 Afghanis were recovered from the suspects.
In addition, mobile phones and other evidence related to hawala and hundi transactions were also seized.

The suspects were unable to provide a satisfactory explanation regarding the recovered foreign currency. Further investigation is underway.
