QUETTA: The Balochistan Institute of Nephro-Urology (BINU) has achieved another great success by successfully conducting a life-saving kidney transplant for a young patient from Noshki.
The procedure not only indicates the institute’s growing expertise in advanced medical care but also symbolizes the spirit of sacrifice and family support.
In this regard, as per the hospital officials, 22-year-old Maqbool Ahmed, a resident of Noshki, had been suffering from severe kidney complications that made daily life extremely difficult.
In addition, his elder brother, Abdul Ghaffar, came forward with courage and compassion, donating one of his kidneys to save Maqbool’s life.
In this sense, medical experts at the institute mentioned that the transplant was completed smoothly, and the patient is now on the path to recovery.
The doctors expressed optimism that Maqbool Ahmed would be able to resume a healthy and active life following post-surgery care and regular medical supervision.
Moreover, by mentioning the broader impact, the officials from the Balochistan Institute of Nephro-Urology revealed that this latest achievement marks the institute’s 74th successful kidney transplant to date.
