Quetta: One killed in explosion near Western Bypass

QUETTA: An explosion occurred near the Western Bypass in Quetta, resulting in the death of one person. Police quickly reached the site, cordoned off the area, and began collecting evidence from the scene. The deceased’s body has been shifted to the hospital. Security has been tightened across the entire area, and security forces have launched a search and clearance operation. As many as two people were injured in the explosion. Both the injured persons were quickly brought to the hospital.

Just a day earlier, Quetta witnessed another deadly explosion that claimed the lives of two people, with the banned group BLA taking responsibility for the attack.

On Friday, nearly 30 armed assailants riding motorcycles stormed Surab, torching several buildings and looting a bank. The attack also led to the martyrdom of the Assistant Commissioner of Revenue.
