QUETTA: The International Day of Minorities was celebrated in Quetta, a dignified ceremony was held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti joined minority leaders and children in cutting a cake to mark the occasion.
In this sense, the CM Bugti paid rich tribute to the minority communities for their remarkable contributions to the country’s development, harmony, and progress.
He noted that minorities had always played an important role in the defense and stability of the nation, standing shoulder to shoulder with the majority in times of need.
The Chief Minister focused on that religious freedom and respect for cultural identity are fundamental principles upheld in the province.
He stated that policies have been put in place to promote inclusivity, protect cultural diversity, and enable minorities to participate actively in every sphere of public life.
Meanwhile, Bugti reasserted that the provincial government is determined to create a just and tolerant society where harmony and mutual respect are strengthened through practical measures.
