Quetta Gladiators defeat Islamabad United by huge margin of 109 runs

RAWALPINDI: Quetta Gladiators has defeated the Islamabad United by 109 runs in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) match, on Wednesday.

The 26th match of the tenth season of the PSL was played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Quetta Gladiators were offered to bat first after losing the toss. Gladiators, batting first, scored a brilliant score of 263 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs.

Quetta batters Riley Rossouw scored a brilliant century off 44 balls, which included 6 sixes and 13 fours. Similarly, Hassan Nawaz also scored an unbeaten 100 runs off 45 balls, his innings included 9 sixes and 4 fours.

Naseem Shah and Imad Wasim took one wicket each for Islamabad United.

While chasing huge total of 264 runs, Islamabad United’s team was all out for 154 runs in the final over of the match.

Mohammad Amir took 3 wickets, while Abrar Ahmed and Faheem Ashraf took 2 wickets each for Quetta.

Before the match, the national anthem of Pakistan was played in the stadium and a minute’s silence was observed in memory of those martyred in the Indian attacks.
