LAHORE: Quetta Gladiators have defeated Islamabad United by two wickets after achieving a target of 158 runs with the loss of 8 wickets with one ball to spare, in the 23rd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10.
Hassan Nawaz of Quetta Gladiators, batted brilliantly against the Islamabad United Bowlers and score 64 runs not out. The other prominent batsmen Rylee Russo scored 27, Finn Allen 20, Mohammad Wasim Jr. 16, Haseebullah 7, captain Saud Shakeel 7.
Islamabad United’s Naseem Shah and Salman Irshad took two wickets each for the team, while Mohammad Nawaz, Salman Agha and Jason Holder took 1 wicket each in a match played at Qaddafi stadium in Lahore.
While batting first at the invitation of Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United scored 157 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Mohammad Nawaz was outstanding for United by scoring 49 runs. Sahibzada Farhan 39, Kyle Myers 22, Haider Ali 10, Colin Munro 9, Andre House 8, Naseem Shah 1 while captain Salman Agha and Mohammad Shahzad were out for 0 runs.
