Quetta Development Projects to be completed on time, assures CM Bugti

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has directed concerned authorities to ensure the timely completion of all schemes under the Quetta Development Project (QDP), focusing on that no negligence or delay will be tolerated in the execution of ongoing works.

In this regard, he was chairing a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, where CM Bugti reviewed the progress of the multi dimensional development initiative aimed at upgrading the provincial capital’s infrastructure and civic facilities. 

In this sense, the CM was informed that six projects under the QDP have already been completed, where an additional six schemes are expected to reach completion by December this year.  These projects cover a wide range of development areas including infrastructure improvement, provision of urban amenities, and measures designed to increase the overall beauty of Quetta.

So far, he was mentioning the significance of the provincial capital, CM Bugti described Quetta as the “heart of Balochistan” and underlined the need for urgent progress. He stressed that development initiatives must directly benefit the people and contribute to raising their standard of living. 

The CM further instructed officials to accelerate the pace of work while maintaining quality and transparency in all schemes.

He reasserted his government’s determination to change Quetta into a modern, vibrant city, noting that the successful execution of these projects will not only address pressing urban challenges but also contribute to the province’s broader development goals.
