QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has officially inaugurated the newly established Cath Lab at Quetta Civil Hospital, on Thursday.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has announced that 24/7 MRI services will be available at Civil Hospital at a affordable cost which had a long demand for MRI services, which has now been fulfilled with the installation of modern machinery.
Regarding the new services at the Civil Hospital, CM Bugti further said that the Cath Lab and Cardiac Services will also operate round the clock, ensuring patients receive uninterrupted treatment.
Chief Minister admitted that one of the biggest challenges in Balochistan’s health sector had been the shortage of medicines. To curb corruption and ensure transparency, the government has introduced digital medicine labs.

CM Bugti praised Dr. Wasay, who returned to Pakistan to serve voluntarily at Quetta Civil Hospital for refusing Rs. 3.6 million salary in London, adding that the government will recommend Dr. Wasay for a Civil Award in recognition of his services.
