QUETTA: Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti will preside over the session, during which discussions will be held on the budget and Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the fiscal year 2025–26.
All members of the Balochistan cabinet have been instructed to attend the meeting. It is worth mentioning that Rs 300 billions have been reserved for the development projects in Balochistan in the Fiscal Year 2025-26.
Previously A consultative meeting on the upcoming fiscal year’s budget was held Tuesday at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired the meeting.
Parliamentary leaders and members from the government’s coalition parties attended the meeting.
Chief Minister Bugti said the new budget would focus on collective schemes to improve public welfare.
He stressed the use of available resources for projects that serve the public and boost development in the province.
He pledged full funding for proposed projects to ensure proper use of financial resources. He said this would help meet the people’s development needs.

Bugti added that the budget would provide basic services and prioritize development projects in line with government goals.
Participants backed the Chief Minister’s leadership in budget formation. They also gave suggestions to improve public service delivery.
