PTI Balochistan announces Rally in Quetta Hockey ground

QUETTA: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will hold a central rally at Quetta’s Hockey Ground on November 7, the party’s provincial leadership announced on Sunday .

Dawood Shah Kakar, the President of PTI Balochistan, made the announcement during a press conference at the Quetta Press Club. He was accompanied by other senior party leaders, including Sardar Zainul Abidin Khilji, Noor Khan Khilji, and Siddique Khan .

Kakar stated that the decision was finalized during a meeting of all PTI district presidents in Quetta. He expressed hope that the provincial government would not only grant permission for a peaceful gathering but also ensure complete security for all participants. The party plans to submit a formal application to the district administration for the necessary permissions .

The rally is scheduled for 3:00 PM and will be addressed by the party’s central and provincial leaders . This public meeting is part of a revised national protest strategy by the PTI, which also includes rallies in other major cities like Peshawar and Karachi .

During the press conference, Kakar also celebrated the birthday of party founder Imran Khan, noting that the occasion was marked across Balochistan with Quran recitations for his health and safety. He criticized the current federal government, referring to them as “rulers of Form 47,” and accused them of failing to maintain law and order in the country .
