LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) X will continue as scheduled amid clashes between Pakistan and India. Islamabad United will face Quetta Gladiators later today at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The announcement comes amid rising tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi. Indian forces carried out attacks inside Pakistan, and Pakistan responded in kind.
Pakistan’s armed forces shot down five Indian Air Force jets, destroyed a combat drone, and struck brigade headquarters. India had earlier launched missile strikes in cities across Punjab and Azad Kashmir.
The toss for the United vs Gladiators match will take place at 7:30 PM. The first ball will be bowled at 8:00 PM.
PCB confirmed no changes to the remaining PSL X fixtures. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the final on May 18.
PSL action returns to Rawalpindi tonight. The stadium will host four matches on May 7, 8, 9, and 10. The final group stage match will take place in Multan on May 11.
The qualifier is scheduled for Rawalpindi on May 13. Both eliminators and the final will be played in Lahore on May 14, 16, and 18.
