DHAKA: The attempted murder of Usman Hadi, a Students Leader in Bangladesh has caused protest outside the Indian High Commission in Dhaka.

According to the Bangladeshi, some veiled persons shot at Usman Hadi, a prominent Bangladeshi Students leader on Friday.

The injured Hadi has been shifted to Singapore in a critical condition.

The incident has caused outrage in Bangladesh and the students launched a protest outside the Indian High Commission in Dhaka.

The violent protestors broke the barrier outside the Indian High Commission in Dhaka and attempted a forced entry in the building of the High Commission.

The protestors were demanding the handing over of the veiled armed persons involved in the attempted murder.

The students’ leader have accused India of backing the attempted murder of Usman Hadi.

They have also asked the Indian government for Sheikh Hasina Wajid, the former Bangladesh Prime Minister to be handed over to Bangladesh.

The protestors chanted slogans against the India’s backing of attempted-target killing of Usman Hadi.

It is worth mentioning Sheikh Hasina Wajid fled from Bangladesh and took a self-imposed exile in India after the students’ country-wide violent protest across Bangladesh which caused the downfall of Sheikh Hasina’s government in August 2024.

Some 1400 people were killed during the country-wide protest in Bangladesh last year.

India’s backing of target-killing and backing proxy wars in the neighboring countries has raised to a horrible extent now.

Some credible report has said that India has backed proxy wars and a state-sponsored target killing in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Nepal, Canada, USA and several other countries.

The issuance of the passport in 2022 to Sajid Akram, the man who shot-killed 15 people on Sydeny’s Bondi Beach in Australia is also raising suspicions on India’s role of backing and plotting militancy on the global level.
