KHUZDAR: The residents of Wadh’s Kaka Heer area of Khuzdar district, blocked the highway in protest after a firing incident at a house, where unidentified attackers allegedly tried to kidnap a person. During the incident, a girl was injured when the attackers opened fire after facing resistance.
According to local media reports, following the incident, the victim’s family and local residents staged a protest and blocked the national highway, disrupting traffic in the area.
Assistant Commissioner Wadh Akbar Ali Mazari and DSP Wadh reached the scene and held talks with the protestors. After successful negotiations, the protestors end the protest and highway was reopened for traffic.

Local administration assured the affected family that justice would be served, and investigations into the incident are now underway.
