Commissioner Reviews progress of eastern bypass project

QUETTA: Quetta Commissioner Shahzeb Khan Kakar chaired a meeting on the Eastern Bypass expansion project, where the progress and related challenges were reviewed.

Officials informed the meeting that the project is scheduled for completion by December 31 and that the required funds have already been released.

The commissioner directed that water should be sprinkled during construction to minimize dust and inconvenience for the public, and alternative routes should be provided for smooth traffic flow.

Representatives of the National Highway Authority (NHA) briefed that the project also includes the completion of two flyovers and several under-construction bridges.

Commissioner Kakar emphasized that timely completion of this project will provide significant relief to the citizens and greatly improve travel facilities.

The Balochistan government ensures various development projects not only to bring development infrastructure but also to eliminate deprivation and joblessness in the province.

Along with many development projects carried out by China, the provincial government is launching roads, highways, IT Parks, Medical colleges, Schools, Universities and hospital.

The aims is to enlighten the youth not only with education but also to make them prepared with the modern fields of IT and other forms of technology.

At the same time, the government vows to provide people with some quality traveling and health facilities by launching shuttles for shorter routes.

Similarly , the health sector is also being revolutionized to make sure that people from the far and rural areas are facilitated in a much organized way.
