ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, the Defence Minister, and the Chiefs of the three armed forces, visited the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Headquarters today.
During the visit, the national leadership received a comprehensive briefing on the country’s internal and external security landscape.
According to Express News, special emphasis was placed on preparedness to counter traditional threats in light of India’s escalating aggression along the eastern border.
The leadership was also briefed on regional security developments, emerging threats, conventional military challenges, hybrid warfare, and the operations of terrorist proxy networks.

The Prime Minister and senior officials praised the effective coordination among national institutions and stressed the importance of operational readiness at all levels to ensure a swift and decisive response to any threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty and integrity.
Prime Minister Sharif commended the ISI’s professionalism and strategic insight, acknowledging the agency’s critical role in safeguarding national interests and making timely decisions amid complex security challenges.
He affirmed that the entire nation stands firmly behind its valiant armed forces, stating, “The Pakistan Armed Forces are among the most professional and disciplined in the world.” The national leadership reiterated its unwavering commitment to defend the country against all forms of threats.
The Prime Minister concluded by emphasizing that with strong public support, the armed forces and state institutions are fully prepared to protect Pakistan’s security, dignity, and sovereignty at any cost.
It is notable that after the Pahalgam attack , India baselessly alleged Pakistan for the incident and has threatened to impose a military war on Pakistan.
