PPP’s Zehri voices concern over law and order crisis in Balochistan

QUETTA: Former Chief Minister Balochistan and Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan, calling for urgent and decisive government action.

PPP leader strongly condemned the firing on a passenger coach on the national highway in Kalat, the terrorist attacks in Awaran and Quetta, in which Major Rab Nawaz and Major Anwar Kakar of the Pakistan Army were martyred.

Zehri said that the government needs to take immediate and effective steps to establish peace, especially the unfortunate incidents on the national highways have made travel in the Balochistan extremely dangerous.

Ex-CM Balochistan highlighted that the security agencies should be provided with full powers and cooperation so that immediate and strict action can be taken against the agents of chaos. He demanded that the provincial government strengthen the hands of the law enforcement agencies so that peace and order can be restored.
