PPP women lawmakers condemn Balochistan incident

Karachi:Women members of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the Sindh Assembly have submitted a resolution strongly condemning the brutal killing of a couple in Balochistan.

The resolution was submitted by provincial assembly members Saadia Javed and Heer Soho, denouncing the horrific act as unconstitutional, un-Islamic, and against cultural norms.

In the text of the resolution, the lawmakers emphasized that such savage actions are a violation of Pakistan’s Constitution, Islamic teachings, and basic human rights.

They demanded that the Balochistan government take immediate action to arrest the perpetrators.

The resolution also asserted that no society can permit such incidents under the pretext of so-called honor, and urged strict legal consequences for those involved.

 

The Sindh Assembly, through this resolution, expressed its strong condemnation of the barbaric murder and called on the Balochistan provincial government to ensure that all individuals involved in the crime are swiftly brought to justice and given exemplary punishment.
