QUETTA: In a significant move to overhaul its administrative structure, the People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Balochistan has formally launched an E-Filing and Digital File Tracking System. This initiative is designed to modernize governance, enhance transparency, and ensure secure digital documentation throughout the organization.

The launch ceremony was addressed by Chief Executive Officer Dr. MB Raja Dharejo, who stated that the shift to digital governance is a cornerstone of the institutional reforms he has championed since taking office. “Digitization of administrative matters is no longer optional—it is a necessity,” Dr. Dharejo asserted. He highlighted that the new system would drastically reduce paperwork, accelerate the flow of official work, and foster greater coordination.

The CEO detailed the core benefits of the new platform, emphasizing that it will introduce safe digital archiving, secure data management, and real-time file tracking. He noted that this would substantially boost overall performance by reducing dependency on physical files, improving document accessibility, and strengthening accountability. “This system… sets a new benchmark for efficiency within public-sector organizations in Balochistan,” Dr. Dharejo added.

Under the new paperless mechanism, all official files will be processed electronically, enabling timely approvals, automated file movement, and a clear digital audit trail for all decisions. This is expected to save considerable organizational resources, including time and stationery, while improving inter-departmental coordination.

The system has been launched initially at the PPHI Head Office and key departments, with plans to expand it to all district offices in a subsequent phase. Dr. Dharejo acknowledged the technical support and capacity-building provided by the Chief Minister Balochistan Delivery Unit (CMDU), stating that this collaboration is crucial for institutionalizing digital governance practices across all tiers of PPHI.

Meanwhile Maulana Abdul Wasi, the Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan, has launched a scathing critique against the provincial leadership, declaring that “fake and incompetent representatives have reduced this province to ruins.”
