QUETTA: A long-run power outage has been observed in the provincial capital of Balochistan, Quetta.
The power supply is shut mainly because of a technical fault in the main feeder near the western bypass.
Areas of Hazara Town and Raisani Town are affected and there is power outage for many hours.
The sources of QESCO (Quetta Electric Supply company) say that the company is trying hard to fix the fault and get the issue resolved.
It is worth mentioning that power outage in several areas of the city has become far more than frequent.
The electricity consumer say that prolonged power outages bring daily life to a standstill. Not only is production in factories and industries halted, but routine activities in educational institutions and other offices that rely heavily on electricity also come to a stop.
Similarly, household consumers are fed up with living under a paralyzed system due to frequent power cuts. The public has demanded improvements in the city’s electricity supply.

The citizens have demanded on numerous occasions that they need a better infrastructure of power supply than this.
