Here are some truth-based facts for those spreading lies on social media. In their last meeting, Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim Munir and Ayatollah Khamenei clearly expressed mutual respect and solidarity.
Ayatollah Khamenei told him, “I am also a son of Ali (AS), and you are also a son of Ali (AS),” which reflects our shared bond, respect, and the spirit of Muslim unity.
In the same final meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei also said to Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim Munir, “The Muslim Ummah is proud of you. Just as you showed courage and bravery in the Battle of Truth (Operation Bunyan Marsoos), you not only confronted but also defeated an enemy many times larger than yourself.”
