QUETTA: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Quetta, Muhammad Baloch has announced to intensify action against illegal private gunmen in the provincial capital of Balochistan.
SSP Muhammad Baloch released a video on Friday, SSP Quetta informed that no one will be allowed to illegal carry weapon on the name of private gunmen, adding that the crackdown against illegal armed guards and private gunmen will be intensified under the orders of the Balochistan High Court (BHC).
SSP Baloch clarified that if a person is allowed to have government or private guards due to security concerns, these guards must be in uniform, adding that private gunmen will not be tolerated without permission and if anyone need secuiryt then it should be within the limit of the law.

Citizens have welcomed this move by the police and have expressed hope that this announcement will now be reflected in practical measures, which will improve the law and order situation in the city.
