PML-N Pledges Full Support to CM Bugti in Political Turmoil

ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti met National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at Parliament House on Tuesday. The leaders discussed the province’s political, social, and development situation.

They reviewed ongoing development projects, public welfare programs, and federal support. Both emphasized strong federal-provincial ties as essential for national unity and citizens’ well-being. Parliamentary Leader of PML-N in Balochistan, Mir Saleem Khan Khosa, also attended the meeting.

Speaker’s Remarks

Speaker Sadiq dismissed rumors of changes in the Balochistan government as baseless. He said the current coalition government is actively promoting peace, stability, and development in the province. “Balochistan’s progress is Pakistan’s progress,” he said.

Sadiq praised ongoing mega-projects in Balochistan and promised federal cooperation to ensure benefits reach the public. He emphasized that close coordination between the federation and the province will accelerate solutions to citizens’ issues.

CM Bugti commended Speaker Sadiq for his leadership and the smooth conduct of parliamentary proceedings. He also appreciated the National Assembly’s support for Balochistan’s legislative process.

Bugti stressed that Parliament gives provinces a strong voice. “National unity strengthens through joint efforts,” he said.

Security Situation

On security, Bugti said the people and security forces of Balochistan are bravely combating terrorism. He added that all institutions are aligned to maintain peace and stability in the province.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen cooperation for Balochistan’s development, peace, and prosperity.

PML-N Support

Sheikh Zark Mandokhail, a PML-N member of the Balochistan Assembly, told W-NEWS that Bugti’s visit included meetings with senior PML-N leadership, including Speaker Sadiq.

Mandokhail said discussions focused on the province’s security, political trends, government performance, and potential cabinet reshuffles. He confirmed that PML-N members remain united in their support for CM Bugti and will continue backing him for the province’s greater interests.
