PM Shehbaz lauds Balochistan’s role in combating terrorism during visit to Quetta

QUETTA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Quetta earlier today as part of his official visit to Balochistan. The visit underlines the federal government’s continued focus on regional stability and development in the province.

In this regard, the Prime Minister visited the prestigious Command and Staff College, Quetta, where he was accompanied by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir.

Furthermore, his visit to the military college, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, proceeded to the Balochistan Jirga, a high-level tribal gathering attended by provincial leaders, tribal elders, and representatives of civil society. He was addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister praised the courage and resilience of the Baloch people in the face of persistent security challenges.

Meanwhile, Sharif focused on that sustainable peace in Balochistan is only achievable through inclusive development and mutual trust between the people and the state.
