PM Shehbaz declares: “Water is redline for Pakistan”

PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that water is a red line for Pakistan and that every drop is the rightful property of the Pakistani people.

Addressing to a grand tribal Jirga held in Peshawar to address the security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PM Shehbaz Sharif issued a strong warning to India, saying, our armed forces have given India a lesson it will remember for eternity.

He said that the Modi government is licking the wounds of defeat after a humiliating defeat.

Field Marshal Asim Munir, DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, and tribal elders from across the region attended the jirga.

Regarding the tribal jirga, PM Shehbaz said it was an honor for him to attend the Jirga and meet the resilient people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He praised the people of the province for their unwavering sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to resolving their long-standing issues.

“Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the most beautiful province of Pakistan. In 1947, its people voted overwhelmingly in favor of joining Pakistan. Their sacrifices and patriotism cannot be forgotten,” PM Shehbaz said.
