QUETTA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a special development fund of Rs 250 billion for Balochistan province.
While addressing a grand jirga in Quetta, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that this amount constitutes one fourth of the national development budget of Rs 1,000 billion
PM Shehbaz highlighted that the progress of Balochistan is vital for the development of Pakistan and that transparent utilization of these funds is essential.
He further said that the Balochistan’s priorities would be determined under the guidance of local elders and leaders. He stressed the need to bring back those who have deviated from the right path into the national mainstream.

Taking a firm stance against terrorism, PM Shehbaz Sharif declared that terrorists are bloodthirsty enemies of peace and prosperity. PM Shehbaz Sharif described them as agents of hostile countries, adding that Pakistan will not to fulfill their dreams of stopping the development process of Balochistan.
