DAVOS: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir are attending the World Economic Forum in Davos. They have drawn strong attention from global leaders.
The annual forum is underway in the Swiss resort town. Sharif and Munir are participating in multiple sessions and engagements.
The prime minister and the army chief held informal and cordial meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the forum.
They met Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
Witnesses said the meetings featured warm exchanges and friendly gestures.
