ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a comprehensive “Martyrs Package” for civilians and military personnel who were martyred or injured during the recent conflict termed “Ma’raka-e-Haq” (Battle of Truth).
He also unveiled significant decisions for those affected by Indian attacks, including reconstruction of damaged homes and mosques.
According to the official statement, families of civilians martyred in the conflict will receive Rs. 10 million each, while the injured will be compensated between Rs. 1 million to Rs. 2 million.
For Pakistan Armed Forces personnel, the government will continue to pay full salaries and allowances until their retirement date. Additionally, children of martyred soldiers will be provided free education up to graduation, and each family will receive a marriage grant of Rs. 1 million for one daughter.
The statement added that injured soldiers will be compensated with Rs. 2 million to Rs. 5 million each.
Prime Minister Sharif also assured that the federal government will cover the reconstruction of homes and mosques damaged during the Indian aggression and will bear all medical expenses of the wounded.

He emphasized that the government takes full responsibility for the upbringing of the martyrs’ children and pledged that those who defended the nation will be recognized at the national level. Honors and awards will be conferred on those who served in defense of Pakistan across all fronts.
