DUKKI: Over the continued and prolonged loads shedding the Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party PkNap protested in different districts of Balochistan on Saturday.
The protest was organized and led by the Party districts Secretaries Nana Sahib, Ziarat, and Dukhi. The protester slams the Quetta Electric Supply Company QESCO for the prolonged load shedding and also chanted slogans against the government.
A large number of people from different walk of life participated in the demonstration and raised their legitimate demands of uninterrupted power.
The people have shown anger over the government inaction against the theft of wires from poles and removal of feeders which badly effected the residents of the Dukki District. The protestors urged the government and power Supply Company QUESCO urgent action against this administrative failure . Due to the alleged theft incdents almost seventy percent of Dukki District in dark told by a citizen.
Meanhwhile the weather Department has issued a warning for severe cold weather in various parts of the country, including Karachi, advising citizens to take necessary precautions.
According to the department, cold conditions in Karachi are expected to intensify over the coming days, with temperatures likely to remain below normal.
The forecast indicates that most regions of the country will experience cold and dry weather today, though northern and mountainous areas will feel particularly harsh cold during morning and night hours.
Chilly winds in higher elevations could further amplify the cold.
Fog is anticipated to persist in the plains of Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, potentially reducing visibility.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to remain extremely cold, with partly cloudy skies.
In Islamabad, Murree, and the Galiyat region, dry and intensely cold weather is predicted. Several cities in Punjab, including Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Multan, Bahawalpur, Jhan
