Four vessels arrived at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Four vessels carrying around 250 million liters of petrol have arrived at Port Qasim shortly after the recent increase in petroleum product prices in Pakistan.

According to port authorities, one of the ships has already completed the transfer of 37,000 tons of petrol.

Officials said the unloading process from another vessel carrying 50,000 tons of petrol is currently underway, while a third ship carrying 55,000 tons is expected to anchor at Port Qasim on March 12.

Authorities further stated that another vessel is scheduled to arrive on March 13, which will unload approximately 34,000 tons of petrol.

It is worth noting that the government recently increased the price of petrol and diesel by Rs55 per liter.
