QUETTA: The petrol crisis has intensified in various districts of Balochistan due to the Iran-Israel war.
Petroleum Association revealed that Iranian petrol is sold at 95% of the pumps in the northern districts; however, due to the lack of petrol, there is a petrol crisis in the northern and upper districts of Balochistan, Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Ziarat, Loralai, Daki, Harnai.
According to details, due to the illegal supply of Iranian petrol, 90% of the petrol pumps in Chaman city have been closed, while petrol has started being sold at high prices at a few open pumps.
Assistant Commissioner Chaman Imtiaz Ali told local media that 10 pump owners who were selling petrol above the official rate have been arrested.

Petrol depot officials of various companies in Quetta have been contacted regarding the petrol crisis, who have assured to start the supply of Pakistani petrol soon.
