Pensioners in Balochistan form a significant portion of the province’s retired government workforce, relying heavily on pension payments for their post-retirement livelihood.
Over the years, the increasing number of pensioners has placed a considerable financial burden on the provincial budget.
To address this challenge, the Government of Balochistan has been working to introduce sustainable and contributory pension reforms.
The Balochistan Contributory Pension Scheme 2025 is a major step toward ensuring financial stability, transparency, and long-term security for future retirees, reducing dependency on the traditional pension system.
