Peace talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan continue

ISTANBUL: The peace talks between the Pakistani and the Afghan delegations continue in Istanbul today.

According to the sources, the Pakistani and the Afghan delegations continue peace talk under the supervisions of the Turkish and the Qatar officials.

Pakistan had vowed to give one more chance to the peace to be carried out after the cross-border terrorism and the hostility on the border by Afghanistan.

Turkey had urged the Pakistani and the Afghan officials to launch another round of peace talk at the Istanbul.

The delegations of both the countries sit together for the peace talks and some senior officials of Turkey and Qatar are also facilitating the dialogue process between the two countries.

The mediators are carefully review the dialogue process and the progress carried out by the delegations.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan has asked the Afghan government frequently not to back and support the Indian-sponsored militancy and take necessary measures against the militants operating from their territory.

However, the militant groups like TTP, BLA, Majeed Brigade and many others have been constantly launching attacks on the armed forces as well as the civilains in Pakistan.

In 2025 alone, over 600 militant-attacks have been launched in KP by the Fitna al Khwarij militants.

The TTP militants are trained, funded backed on the Afghan soil for their RAW-backed attacks in Pakistan.

Pakistan’s stance is clear that Islamabad will no tolerate military on its territory from the Afghan soil.

However, the Taliban-led Afghan government has been denying to own any such militant groups and calling it ‘in internal security concern of Pakistan.’

However, Pakistan has made it clear that more attacks in KP and Balochistan will force the Pakistani armed forces to launch targeted attacks deep inside Afghan territory and the militants camps will be eliminated with no hesitation.
