Peace restored in Zehri after complete elimination of BLA

ZEHRI: The successful security operation in the rugged mountains of Zehri, the Frontier Corps (FC) has completely cleared the area of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

The operation led to the full dismantling of BLA’s hideouts and networks in the region. In this sense, the FC personnel have begun routine patrols to ensure lasting stability and prevent any resurgence of militant activity.

Furthermore, the government said the restoration of peace in Zehri indicates a vital achievement in the ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorism and militancy from Balochistan. “The complete elimination of the BLA from Zehri is a major milestone in our mission to maintain peace and security across the province,” an FC spokesperson stated.

In this regard, the local residents have welcomed the return of peace and expressed gratitude to the security forces for their efforts.

Moreover, the officials further focused on the fact that the operation sends a strong and clear message to anti-state elements that Pakistan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty are non-negotiable.

So far, the security analysts note that the success in Zehri could serve as a model for future counterterrorism operations in other volatile areas of Balochistan. The government has reasserted its resolve to continue targeted actions against all militant groups threatening peace and development in the region.
