PCB Chief Urges Selection Committee to Work Without Pressure

LAHORE: Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, has directed the national team’s selection committee to perform its duties without any pressure and to make decisions with full transparency.

Naqvi met members of the selection committee in Lahore. The meeting included former cricketers Misbah-ul-Haq, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Asad Shafiq and Aaqib Javed.

During the meeting, Naqvi asked the committee to carry out its responsibilities honestly and independently. He said the members should not worry about criticism made merely for the sake of criticism.

He urged the committee to make all decisions freely and with complete transparency. Naqvi also assured the members of his full support.

Members of the selection committee thanked the chairman for his confidence and cooperation. They said they would make decisions professionally and in the best interest of the national team.
