ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the organization of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Trophy Tour and a special players’ fan engagement event in New York on Sunday, December 14.
The event is part of ongoing efforts to promote the HBL PSL on a global stage and to strengthen engagement with cricket fans living outside Pakistan.
New York, one of the world’s most diverse and vibrant cities, has been selected as a key destination to showcase the league’s growing international appeal. In this regard, the press release stated that players from the Pakistan cricket team will appear with the HBL PSL trophy at Times Square at 5:30 pm local time.
The iconic location has been chosen to symbolize the global spirit of the Pakistan Super League and its connection with fans across different regions of the world. During the event, players are expected to interact with supporters and celebrate the league’s journey and achievements.
Furthermore, the PCB officials mentioned that the trophy tour aims to bring fans closer to the league by offering a unique opportunity to see the HBL PSL trophy in person and engage directly with players.
The initiative indicates the board’s commitment to expanding the league’s footprint beyond Pakistan and building stronger ties with overseas Pakistani communities and international cricket followers.
The HBL PSL has grown steadily since its launch, gaining recognition for its competitive cricket, professional organization, and contribution to the development of the sport in Pakistan.
The PCB focused on that fan engagement remains a central element of the HBL PSL’s vision. By organizing events in major international cities, the board aims to promote cultural exchange through sport and highlight cricket as a unifying force.
