QUETTA: The patients at Bolan Medical Complex (BMC) has blamed the hospital staff for alleged criminal negligence, lack of medical facilities and mistreatment of poor patients.
According to the patient’s family, a man admitted to the hospital two days ago was not provided even basic medication, adding that the BMC had no essential medicines available and the patients had to buy expensive drugs from the market. He said that they are poor people and cannot afford such costly medicines every day.
He claimed that today, the patient’s condition worsened, and he urgently required oxygen. However, no oxygen mask was available. The family repeatedly called for nurses and doctors, but no one came. The ward remained silent, marked by indifference and negligence.

The patient’s relatives criticized the hospital’s administration for mistreating the poor patients in a government hospital, adding that poor people come here with the hope of treatment, but instead we are left helpless and unheard.
