Noutal: Armed bandits looted a Sada Bahar passenger coach within the jurisdiction of Noutal Police Station.
The robbers opened fire on the vehicle, but driver Allah Ditta Lehri and all passengers miraculously remained unharmed. According to eyewitnesses, the assailants calmly robbed the travelers of their valuables and fled the scene without resistance.
Despite being informed promptly, Noutal police reportedly arrived late at the site. Outraged by the delayed response, passengers and transporters staged a protest by blocking the National Highway, demanding swift action against the culprits and improved security along the route.
It is worth mentioning that highways in Balochistan have become risky for the travelers as far too many crime incidents have occurred over the years. Robbers and the looters have been targeting the buses and the vans and have stolen cash, jewelry and valuables on numerous occasions. The passengers have demanded security on the national highways and the roads across Balochistan more than often. Not only the passengers , but also the traders have complained about the cases of extortion on the highways.
It is worth mentioning that the insurgents too have carried out militant attacks and killed many passengers on the basis of the ethnicity in the past few months.
