Partly Cloudy, Very Cold Conditions Grip Northern Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: Partly cloudy conditions will prevail across northern Pakistan, including North Balochistan and southern Punjab, over the next twelve hours.

Northern areas will experience very cold weather during the morning and night hours.

Light rain and snowfall over the mountains may occur at isolated locations in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Smog and patchy fog during night and morning hours will continue across the plains of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Major city temperatures recorded this morning were: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at four degrees Celsius, Lahore nine, Karachi sixteen, Peshawar five, Quetta zero, Gilgit minus one and Murree two degrees.

According to the forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula will see very cold and partly cloudy weather, while Jammu will remain cold and partly cloudy.

Temperature readings this morning showed Srinagar, Pulwama and Shopian at zero degrees Celsius, Jammu at seven, Leh at minus six, and Anantnag and Baramula at minus one degree.
