VIRGINIA: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, inaugurated the Pak–US Business Conference and Expo 2025 in the US state of Virginia, focusing on the importance of strengthening bilateral economic cooperation and expanding trade partnerships between Pakistan and the United States.
Furthermore, the event, organized in collaboration with Brand Designer Pakistan, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, and the US–Pakistan International Chamber of Commerce (USPICC), brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors from both countries.
The conference aimed to explore new avenues of trade, investment, and economic collaboration while promoting long-term business partnerships.
Moreover, Ambassador Sheikh mentioned the importance of aligning business strategies with the evolving needs of the American market.
He underlined that robust economic and commercial relations are essential for the sustainability of Pakistan–US ties.
The ambassador noted that the US represents one of the world’s largest and most dynamic consumer markets, offering vast potential for Pakistani businesses seeking to expand their global reach.
The ambassador interacted with participants, including representatives from diverse industries and small enterprises.
He praised their efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s economic presence in the United States and expressed appreciation for the organizers’ role in creating a platform that encourages entrepreneurship and cross-border collaboration.
However, Ambassador Sheikh focused on the increasing trade relations between Pakistan and the United States could serve as a cornerstone for deeper strategic and diplomatic engagement.
He encouraged Pakistani entrepreneurs to develop innovative business models tailored to American consumer preferences and to focus on building sustainable, long-term partnerships.
