ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has achieved another remarkable success internationally as its students won one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals at the 2nd International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO-2025), bringing pride to the nation.
The competition was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with the support of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and featured student participants from 19 countries.
Countries such as China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Thailand, and Sri Lanka took part, yet Pakistan emerged among the top-performing nations.
Pakistani Medal Winners:
- Gold Medal: Muhammad Tayyab Bukhari (Beaconhouse School, Abbottabad)
- Silver Medal: Ammar Asad Warraich (Siddeeq Public School, Islamabad)
Bronze Medals:

- Tathir Aima Naqvi (Chenab College, Jhang)
These talented students were mentored by Dr. Sajjad Tahir (Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences – PIEAS) and Dr. Muhammad Maqsood (Directorate of Education, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission – PAEC).
