Pakistan’s cricketer fined for harassing a woman in Colombo hotel

Colombo: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has imposed a heavy fine on a national cricketer involved in a case of harassing a woman.

According to sources, following a complaint from the hotel management in Colombo, the PCB fined the player heavily and also issued him a stern warning.

The hotel administration reported to PCB officials that a member of the Pakistani national cricket team had been repeatedly harassing a woman at the hotel, prompting her to complain to the management.

After the hotel brought the matter to the PCB’s attention, an inquiry was conducted, during which the cricketer was found guilty.

The authorities then imposed a substantial fine on him and issued a strict warning.
