Pakistan Women’s Team Returns Home After Flight Disruptions

Pakistan’s women cricket team returned home after travel disruptions caused by heightened tensions in the Middle East.

After completing their tour of South Africa, the national women’s side was stranded in the city of Durban due to airport closures and the suspension of international flights.

Once flight operations resumed, the team departed Durban and reached Dubai late Saturday night before continuing their journey to Pakistan.

National captain Sana Fatima and players belonging to Karachi arrived at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, while another group of players landed in Lahore.

During the South Africa tour, Pakistan played a six-match series against the hosts, comprising three T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals.

South Africa won both series by a 2–1 margin.

The Pakistan women’s team was originally scheduled to return home on March 1. However, the deteriorating security situation in the region delayed their departure, leaving the squad temporarily stranded in Durban.
