ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that Islamabad will not be the one to do the first strike but will respond to any aggression with full force and firm resolve if India attacks.
Addressing a press conference along with Director General of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR )Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Deputy PM Ishaq said that Pakistan has no link to the Pehalgam incident, nor benefits from it. The world should think about why India is showing so aggression.
Pakistan cautions the international community that Indian escalation risks triggering disastrous consequences in the nuclearized region and beyond.
He termed Indian’s violation of the Indus Water Treaty as an Act of War. Unilateral IWT change by India means war. However, Islamabad will not be the one to do the first strike but will respond to any aggression with more powerful, said Dar.
