Pakistan Warns of Deep Strike Inside India if Provoked

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has strongly reacted to the Indian’s counterpart saying India is in a mood to carry out a false flag operation and stage a terror drama.

Speaking to the media in Sialkot, Asif said that if India takes such action, Pakistan will respond decisively, even reaching as far as Kolkata.

He said Pakistan aims to succeed in its regional mediation role. He expressed hope for lasting peace in the region.

“There should be no conflicts among us. Muslims should follow the example of the Prophet Muhammad and His Sunnah,” Asif said. “May God protect us from any Israeli-instigated disputes.”

He stressed that the need for unity in the Muslim Ummah has never been greater in the past 1,400 years. “May Allah bless Pakistan’s efforts toward unity and reconciliation,” he added.

Responding to a question about Rajnath Singh’s statement, Asif warned that India might carry out another false flag operation.

He said India faced criticism at home during the last conflict. “Despite being five times larger than Pakistan, it did not perform as expected. India always thought its forces were superior, but Pakistan struck them very badly. People will not forget it,” he said.

He referred to India’s humiliation in the past year, saying the world and its own people criticized the country. “India is five times larger than Pakistan. Despite its size, it suffered serious setbacks. This will be recorded in history. Even in terms of economy and military, India is bigger than Pakistan,” he said.

Asif added that any misadventure by India this time could face even greater consequences.

Asif added that Pakistan’s air force has carried out operations inside India. “If India attempts any misadventure this time, we will strike decisively, even reaching Kolkata,” he warned.
