Pakistan defeats Sri Lanka to claim Tri-Nation t20 series title in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka T20 tri-nation series title clash is set for today at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

According to details, the toss will be held at 5:30 pm, while the match is set to begin at 6:00 pm local time.

Sri Lanka secured their place in the final after defeating Pakistan by six runs in the last league match. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, managed to win only one out of their four games and was eliminated from the race to the final.

Sri Lanka entered the tournament under pressure, having been swept 0-3 by Pakistan in the preceding ODI series. They also lost their opening matches of the tri-series to both Pakistan and Zimbabwe. However, the island side mounted a strong comeback, winning their next two fixtures to book a spot in the final.

The final promises a high-stakes showdown as Pakistan look to avenge their recent defeat, while Sri Lanka aim to carry forward their renewed momentum.
