ISLAMABAD: In a major relief for gas consumers, the government has announced that there will be no increase in gas prices for the next six months.
Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik said that gas tariffs will remain unchanged from January 1, 2026, adding that the Petroleum Ministry will issue a formal notification in this regard shortly.
He noted that gas prices are typically reviewed and adjusted every six months, but the government has decided to keep rates stable in the upcoming review period.
