Pakistan stands firm with Kashmiris against Indian oppression: Governor Balochistan

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, has reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination, marking Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir with a powerful message of solidarity.

In his official statement, Governor Mandokhail stated that the people of Pakistan are observing August 5 as Youm-e-Istehsal (Day of Exploitation) to express unwavering solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their just struggle for freedom.

He emphasized that the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) must be granted their fundamental right to self-determination—enshrined in multiple United Nations resolutions.

The Governor stressed that Pakistan has consistently supported the legitimate aspirations of the Kashmiri people at every international forum since day one. “We have actively highlighted the grave human rights violations and atrocities committed against the people of IIOJK,” he said.

Condemning India’s unilateral revocation of Articles 370 and 35A of its constitution, Governor Mandokhail called it a blatant violation of international laws and democratic principles. “India’s illegal occupation and constitutional aggression have exposed its oppressive face to the world,” he said.

He urged the international community to recognize the Kashmir issue not merely as a regional conflict, but as a profound human rights crisis demanding immediate resolution. “The sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people in their pursuit of freedom and dignity deserve global acknowledgment and respect,” he added.
